Chögyam Trungpa (1940–1987) was one of the most influential Tibetan meditation masters and artist to practice and teach in the West. Founded Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and an international association of meditation centers known as Shambhala International.
He wrote more than two dozen books on Buddhism and the Shambhala path of warriorship.
